Recess Coat sewing pattern for 18 inch dolls

Sew your own Recess Coat for 18-inch dolls. Our easy-to-follow pattern includes instructions, photos, pattern pieces, and links to the supplies you need to make your very own recess coat. 
This pattern is rated for intermediate sewers due to the curved collar, edge stitching, and unusual sleeve application that could be difficult for a beginner sewer. But we make it easy to follow with only 4 pattern pieces and fabrics that don't require edge finishing.
 
Materials required
- 1/3 yard wool, wool blend or fleece
- Matching thread for trim and fabric colors
- 2 yards of Chinese braid
- 1 Hook and Eye closure
