18-inch Doll Sewing Patterns
Colonial Undergarments for dolls
$3.00
The pattern includes pieces and instructions to make an 18" doll-size bum roll, colonial pocket, and stay.Â
Colonial America saw children mirror the style of dress of their parents. Kids as small as 4 years old would wear a stay to maintain posture. The children's stay did not include boning and were primarily used to maintain posture.
Colonail gowns usually include a slit on each side near waist so people could access their internal pocket as built in pockets were not introduced yet.
